Atlantis Philadelphia was conceived as a major world-class destination development for Philadelphia’s Delaware River waterfront. The approximately $3 billion vision brought together luxury hospitality, entertainment, dining, cultural attractions and waterfront development within an ambitious integrated destination. Developed through Atlantis New York Group under the leadership and vision of Harry Eng, the project advanced through extensive professional architectural planning and presentation, establishing an important foundation for the continuing evolution of the Atlantis destination concept.
ARCHITECTURAL & DEVELOPMENT TEAM: The Atlantis Philadelphia concept was advanced through collaboration with an experienced team of architects, designers, engineers, development professionals and consultants assembled to explore the creation of a landmark destination at Penn’s Landing. Architectural studies, master planning and presentation renderings were developed to illustrate the proposed waterfront vision, including the distinctive Sail Tower and the broader Atlantis Philadelphia destination concept.
